I mean the guy was only relevant to the plot couple chapters ago, You think a guy who pops out in the Climax of the story will be the Final villain?

Over the guy who was the villain throughout Naruto and was the one to Ruin the main character's life.

Madara is indeed badass and Strong, But He doesn't server any further purpose to the story except with resolving his issues with Hashirama and Finally accepting the Will of fire instead of the cycle of hatred he was in.

On the other hand, Obito needs to resolve his issues with his Old team and the main character who was entrusted to defeat him.

It's obvious who is more important to the plot and the story.

Madara will be tough to take down, But obito will be the last villain standing if kishi does indeed remember all the foreshadowing of obito being the final villain.

Madara has less plot importance than Obito, so it only make sense that he's not the main villain.
His rivalry is with Hashirama, and both of them are relics of the past.
As for Obito he's a parallel of Naruto and was the reason his parents die and why he became a jinchiiruki.

Ps: Don't tell me that it was all Madara's plan since he was dead, and wouldn't have been able to carry-out this big plan of his. It was Obito who set everything in motion and took upon this mission, something Madara seems to have forgotten ever since he learned that Hashirama has been revived.

Well said Sir.

Obito is more important for the plot for sure.

ur opinion sure he might be a better final villain

But

For plot, Obito is better.

;)
For me Obito has shown vulnerability way to often. Madara on the other hands toys with the 5 strongest shinobi alive. It was his plan that Obito has been following and just hearing his name started a war. In Situation where his plan isnt going right he chuckles and continues he seems to always no matter what possibly happens has a back up plan. He broke Edo Tensei effortlessly. He can't be controlled, manipulated or injured. During the biggest war in history he takes a seat and watches. He feels Hashirama presents someone who could possibly ruin his plan and he puts the largest grin on his face. Madara even has a sense of humor the guy is a flawless main villain.

Edit: As flawless and powerful he is he has no choice but to force every shinobi to there limit therefore allowing us to see our favorites at their best.

How are people definitively declaring a final villain already...
Until the Final chapter of Naruto is published and confirmed, there is always room for another "final" villain.

You forgot that Kabuto was controlling edo Madara the entire time, only after Itachi disabled the jutsu that Madara was able to get out of this control, just like every other edo but the only difference is he was able to stay. Without Itachi in the equation he would have remained as a pawn in the entire war.
Also it's wrong to say that he can't be injured since Rock lee basically cut his body in half with a kick to the stomach. If he was alive he would have been severely injured or dead.
Madara is just lazy, unmotivated, and too much of a narcissist to care about what's happening around him, even though his plans is basically going down the drain. Until he actually do something, I don't respect his character a bit.

Because he was ever-present throughout the story's history. Also, I don't think Obito is final villain. Probably Oro.
very unlikely at this point.

being the strongest and coolest doesn't mean they should be the final villain,

the story should make sense and Have meaning so the final villain should be the one who caused the most pain and the one who was causing trouble/havoc throughout the show.

Which is obito.

but madara would make a badass final villain as well. ;P

Why do you think if Naruto gets the rest of the Kyuubi's chakra it will be on par with the power of the juubi? The Kyuubi is a fraction of the juubi, and even if he gets the other half, he wont be near the level of Obito, hell, proably not even Madara.

well maybe because of his damn personality of not giving a shit for once, which makes him a boss known as MADARA UCHIHA.

anyway,Obito is more suited for first main antagonist as he has business to first main protagonist, naruto and madara is suited for second main antagonist as his business is indirectly with second main protagonist, sasuke.and that's best for plot as well.

and both obito and madara should die an epic and memorable death again, cause they deserve it.i mean like it or not one of them is the legendary founder of konoha while other is,"the hero of the sharingan",whose true will,"those who....scum", is carried by every present generation shinobi in their heart.

and as for jubi, him becoming final villain will be shitty as hell.

and for orochimaru, well he should die a better man,and epic death like he deserves as a sannin, like jiraya.

then the last scene, naruto vs sasuke.....

the other half of the kyuubi's chakra on top of the other bijuu's chakra he has inside him already. He can then form an incomplete juubi.

I dont think you get it. Its not about being the strongest and coolest those are just traits that go along with being Madara his name literally gave Obito power through the entire series. I favor Madara because we dont see Madara always looking like this when someone figures out his jutus[ ][ ][ ]Honestly Obito is just too weak to be a main villain look at any other manga you read the Main villain always seems damn near untouchable and indestructible. This brings the best out of the heros seeing as they have to use their strongest attacks and push their hardest that also makes the victory that much more satisfying though i see your point about causing the most pain.

Madara was controlling himself. And are you serious with the lee kick cutting Madara in half. He doesnt have to do anything if Madara was alive he would have killed lee right there. Lee was moving linear sharingan could read his movements or his could susanoo ribcage. Edos seem to be paper-like they all get ripped like that.
Edit: What should madara be doing right now? Since he all lazy... unmotivated yes. but lazy is something different.

Honestly Obito is just too weak to be a main villain look at any other manga you read the Main villain always seems damn near untouchable and indestructible.
Madara's limit is his power. Obito's limit is his imagination and ambition. Obito is naturally a more dynamic and arguably more threatening villain. Overcoming Obito is more unique and difficult than overcoming a villain who must simply be overpowered.
