Why did deidara run or was intimidated by kakashi ?

At the beginning where deidara is luring naruto and sasori is fighting sakura, why does deidara tend to avoid kakashi? Looking at the deidara vs sasuke fight, deidara had amazing strenght and a lot of tricks up his sleve, so I dont get why he avoided kakashi

Cuz he needed to capture naruto (thus not allowed to kill him) and it would be hard to capture him ALIVE when an elite ninja is interfering his capturing

in akatsuki all r trading information to get an advange. Kisame and Itachi knowed alot about kakashi so deidara was aware of it and tried to take him down before he captures naruto

Plus deidara wasnt the type of guy to follow orders as strictly as possible, we all know that

Well he wanted to complete his mission, and fighting a high level ninja like Kakashi and Naruto would be dangerous. And as kakashi showed by dodging his bombs and with kamui, he wouldnt be beaten easily by deidara (if at all)

but he didnt cuz he knew kakashi was there so who cares about being cocky he is rather smart in his decisions in battle. unless hes push to his limits by sasuke.
and i think diedara rather a one on one battle. but lets face it if naruto go going past 2 tails diedara would have died
