Why did all the Sannin turn into Nomads?

Why did all the Sannin leave the village and go travelling? It seems like such a coincidental and random thing to do. They were basically all missing nin. I mean Oro's reasoning is fair enough, being turned down Hokage by your own sensei and caught doing experiements is fair enough but was him turning to evil really that much of an impact that Jiraiya and Tsunade had to go leave too? You don't see any other ninja really doing that...

I really don't know. I know Jiraiya was doing his 'research' to write his book, maybe he got permission from Hiruzen before the old geezer died (because he probably read Icha-Icha himself). Tsunade was just mourning over Dan and Nawaki... pretty much getting drunk every night.

Orochimaru had to leave if he didnt wanna spend all his life locked up. I think Tsunade left because she couldnt handle the loss of her loved ones. Jeraiya left only to track Orochimaru's movements, and write his pervy books XD XD

Jiraya Left Because He wanted to Explore the world and and find research for his Book, and to Track Orochimaru i believe
