Why couldn't Naruto hit Neji?

I know Byakugan gives you 360 degrees of vision, but what does that have to do with Taijutsu? Neji was evading Naruto like he knew where he was going to hit him.

I would have expected something like this from a Sharingan user but not a Byakugan.

imagine next situation, u see a guy runnin at u, u(or a every normal person) most probably ll try evade it, however u wont be tryin to evade something that u r not expecting, right?

are you serious? Ok let me ask you this. Why couldnt naruto land a hit against kakashi when they first met and fought at the training field? Because one kakashi is way better than naruto *then* and back then Neji was better than naruto too. But to answer your question. If you know where someone is you can read their movements and counter it which neji did with his eyes. AKA his 360 degree vision=know where naruto is + can counter him because of that.

Actually the Byakugan does have a blind spot. Even though it's small, it's somewhere near the neck, i think. But Neji is far more skilled so I would understand why Naruto couldn't land a hit on him. And besides Neji may be a jerk-off, but he's a strong jerk-off, so I really wouldn't underestimate the power of the Hyuga.

neji's blindspot is behind his neck indeed. in the fight with kidoumaru it was shown.
its pretty weird tho, nejis vision should have seen the naruto underground :/ .

yes u r right, but it seems like byakugan users have to concentrate in order to see far or through matter. i guess neji thought he alrdy won and deactivated his byakugan, have to doublecheck it tho
