Why couldnt nagato use amaterasu

Why couldnt nagato use amaterasu or any other ms tecHniques since he had the eyes of madara?

Madara had given Nagato the Rinnegan not the sharingan, I believe he cant switch between eyes.
And I think the rinnegan by itself cant use amatarasu

He couldn't revert to Madara's Sharingan because it was transplanted into him, similar to how Kakashi cannot turn off his Sharingan.

Without being able to do this, he couldn't access the abilities that Madara possessed. The Rinnengan itself is not capable of using Sharingan techniques.

the rinnegan isnt the sharingan. just like EMS isnt the regular sharingan. and have you ever saw madara using amaterasu? no. why? because that was itachi's jutsu. every sharingan has unique jutsus.
