Why couldn't Itachi do it?

Orochimaru brought back hokages near full power which made him unable to control them. To solve this problem he used Zetsu aka Hashirama's power which is useless against its origin.

Madara knew the jutsu already. Probably could've resisted like Hashirama too but since Kabuto tried to play his good side there was no need.

Hagoromo is practically god.

Itachi got lucky to face against Naruto.
