Why couldn't Edo Madara use of the six paths like Edo Nagato?

he dont need to use that, tajuutsu alone is enough for him to solo NV.

but otherwise he can use all the sixth paths if he wanted to

He could have, he could have taken the 5 Kages in fact but he didn't need to since he was already the strongest being around at that point and called fighting 5 Kages child's play. He didn't even use any Rinnegan jutsus but to absorb ninjutsu as he had his fun. Madara wasn't using his Rinnegan to it's full use because he was never serious in the fights. When he was revived, he had the wrong eye, Obito had the eye with the power to control the 6 paths and we know the paths don't have to all have 1 of the Rinnegan powers as Obito showed they can use their own jutsus if you want them too.

Madara actually stopped absorbing ninjutsu after he became the Juubi Jin and never used Deva path, weapon path, Susanoo, katon jutsus, wood jutsus, and lost 5 of his black orbs to Minato's FTG.

You can't revive yourself if you are dead.
