Why choose sharingan?

I'm just saying you contradict yourself because you make it seem anyone has op power belongs in jail. I'm not ignoring the uses of the rinnegan but like I said it's not practical or subtle enough for me to use. If someone sees me use my sharingan at least I can make them forget with the sharingan.

I'm not saying that anyone with great power belongs in jail. I was actually saying that alot of people here would belong in jail based on the suggestions that many sharingan advocates have made. Just read through some of the posts in this thread. So many people are talking about using sharingan to steal money or bank account information, to control people, to cheat on tests, to rule the world, etc... I am not saying that all sharingan users would be evil. Once again I reiterate, I just made that statement and agreed with Davidou purely based on your and other people's ideas on how to use this power.

On another note, my usage of the rinnegan doesn't have to be all flashy and showy. Read my reply to dubious.

If your use of the Rinnegan is in the privacy of your own home all of the time as you have insisted, then what's the point of having it?

I mentioned Kamui as one of the lucky things you might get with MS. Anyway, if you are starting with 1 tomoe, who do you plan on killing so that you can awaken MS to possibly get Kamui? Also, how are you going to deal with the blindness?

PS. Rinnegan eyes like Sasuke's and Momoshiki's can make portals too, so you could still travel through spacetime that way.

Why do you keep emphasizing one tomoe? As if the eye won't evolve with routine use.

It's not always in my home necessarily. That is just an example of a way I could use it without being flashy. All I'm saying is:

You seem to assume that I'd be creating miniature suns and dropping meteors. That doesn't have to be the case.

Even if I COAT a place like the mall, it wouldn't necessarily be noticable unless I make something huge and conspicuous.

I really don't think a gold or platinum bar every now and then would make such a big scene upon it's creation. Also I could fly freely.

TBH, I think you care too much about not standing out anyway.

Your powers are just...they don't really affect much. The majority of them stand out too much and the one's that don't are useless to me.

The Byakugan has its uses when it comes to the basis of reality. I mean, whoever has the Byakugan can be a detective and work in law enforcement. They could use it for self-defense just like the Sharingan and shut down anyone's chakra points.

But the Sharingan has more perks because I would have the means to take anything I want; not taking about stealing in that kind of sense. I could get into people's minds, read their movements perfectly clear, and it has the ability to evolve.

Not saying the Byakugan couldn't evolve.

If you talking about real-world applications then no the Sharingan takes a bigger hit than you think

The Sharingan burns information into the mind, and the Byakugan is too obvious as well. If you need to remember something the Byakugan will be useless. The Byakugan canonically cannot use genjutsu, and Kaguya could not tell if someone was lying to her, that was a filler episode.

The Sharingan can control people, if you want to rule the world you can just manipulate from the shadows, which is something that cannot be done with the Byakugan.

That ability only works if people have chakra so that is a useless ability in this world

People would be given chakra, how would I use the Sharingan without the special chakra in my brain.

that is highly dependent on users skill not a given.

You could get the sharingan and find out you have as much genjutsu skill as naruto.
Rewriting reality makes you permanently blind in one eye.
MS makes you lose sight in both eyes eventually, making them completely pointless.

While the sharingan does indeed give great perks, the down side is it's heavily dependent on the user and has strong down sides.

But Sharingan genjutsu trumps all of those in real life lol

Just about everything you said is genjutsu controlling people getting Jutsu having people tell you stuff about them genjutus reading somebody's mind which is not a power the Sharingan gives but getting Jutsu can't allow you to do that.

Ok copying someone movements is nice I'll give you that rewriting reality I hope you got some senju DNA at hand

granted we get to pick from the san Dojutsu, I think having the RInnegan is a pie in the sky.
So we're left with Sharingan and Byakugan. Aesthetically and feat wise, I'd pick the Sharingan anyday. It is a badass eye with badass abilities. Only drawbacks are that extreme usage causes blindness and it seems erratic and taxing. But I'm a weirdo at heart. I find the creepy Byakugan cool to wield so there's that. It has 360, telescopic and x-ray vision. It's all kind of confusing but who wouldn't want to see things ahead and from afar.

The byakugan and rinnegan both offer good options, but for me? Irl? Sharingan trumps. The op assumed I was some thief or something lol I'd use it to rob a bank, one big job once, all insured money. And bam that's it just take care of me and mine. Plus my main reason was deactivation. You can stay low key. No ones staying low key with a rinnegan, a byakugan you can deactivate, but your eyes are still white, and the veins cover half your face when activated. The sharingan would just suit me personally better, the other dojutsus might be better for others

Yolo. If I had the power to rob a bank I would do it right now. I dont need anyone self approval if I was given a power I would use it however I damn please. You hear me saying anything about your use of the rinnegan. The sharingan is just subtle, with a lot of power and its the coolest. It's a no brainer which is better irl if you ask me.
