The acer is simple Tsunade is alive because Kishi still has need of Her for His story,Jiraiya and Orochimaru served their purpose in the story line so they died,but Tsunade still has something to give the story as far as Kishi is concerned.

While Tsunade is not on my top list, i don't like people saying she is alive because of plot no jutsu, she has the ability/jutsu to stay alive is why she is alive.

If you say she has that ability/jutsu because of plot no jutsu, then every ninja is plot no jutsu.

Well, then what do you call it? Your right though she has the ability to stay alive but when her technique ran out she was almost killed by Madara if it wasn't for Dan.

I've previously wanted her dead so that there is a good reason for Naruto to become Hokage towards the end of the manga, but like it's been said, Kishi pretty much established this chapter that she's here to stay

tsunade doesn't really need to die for naruto to become hokage, tsunade only has to retire and choose the next hokage, like what sarutobi did. sarutobi only assumed the post again after 4th hokage died. i think it's better if tsunade pick the 6th hokage after this great ninja war so that she can retire and only serve as adviser to whoever she chooses as the new hokage.

i don't want tsunade to die just yet.<3

u know the only reason I though kishi was kepping her was for her to tell us more about hasihrama but she clearlty doesnt know anything about her grandfather.

And shes done with story wise what else could she bring to the table.


Only one thing left maybe she will explain more about her slugs scared place like the troads and snakes. other than that its times to go tusande.

Hello, this is my first thread. Forgive me if this is in the wrong section but I believe this is the right spot.

Okay so I know many of you want Tsunade to die already so Naruto can be Hokage or mainly because you are a hater. But there is something that clicked on my mind when someone asked the question,"why doesn't Tsunade just die already?" Every time we see her in battle she is always risking her life whether she is protecting Naruto in part one or the village as we saw her pour all her chakra to Katsuyu to save the people.

If Tsunade died right now, I don't think Naruto would be immediately promoted to hokage. He's still young and inexperienced, even if he's had a few impressive kills. Remember that the last person nominated for the position, Kakashi, is still alive, is the leader of an entire division of allied shinobi (a division that has won against several powerful opponents too) and ALSO is being a war hero.

Between the two, Kakashi is more well-known, was trained by Minato, has leadership experience in the allied army, also has several important kills, is well respected by all the jonin in the village, and is still alive. Naruto is powerful AND helped to defeat the third Raikage, but has no leadership experience, isn't as well known as Kakashi, and is still very young.

If Tsunade died today, Kakashi would be hokage tomorrow. If Naruto is hokage at all, it will be after Kakashi retires.
