Why cant Rock Lee use Jutsu

well why not??? I mean he does know how to use chakra to some degree i mean he can walk on water as shown in his fight with Kisame. So that does require some chakra control so what is the reason he cant pull out ninjutsu????

Its not that his chakra system isn't developed enough otherwise he wouldn't be able to open up the eight gates (and release the massive amount of chakra he does from it) its the fact that he wasn't smart enough to learn it,he just wasn't very good at it.Gai sensei says this in the anime/manga when he talks about the lee's training.

No, the Eight Gates are separate form the normal CHakra system as evidenced that Eigt Trigrams cannot close them - ROck Lee's chakra coils were not well developd at birth enough foe him to even use Bunshin.

Where does it state that they weren't from birth?Link Please?Gai states himself that he just wasn't very good at it.The eight gates are not different to the chakra system....

please read^^^^....they are all about the chakra points within the circulatory system so you have contradicted yourself bigtime!xD lol Even kakashi opens a gate whilst climbing one handed to meet sasuke for training...So no its not different at all...Its because he just wasn't very talented at it,nothing to do with not being developed enough....It is in conjuction with taijutsu not ninjutsu but is still a form of jutsu so it is still in relation to it completely U_U simple answer lee could just not get the grasp of ninjutsu or genjutsu so Gai took the time to make him a master of taijutsu instead.

w8 a minute. how did lee graduate in the academy if he did'nt know bunshin, kawaremi and henge jutsu? aren't these three jutsus needed to graduate from the academy?

he knows how to throw kunais and a very good taijutsu so maybe they did passed him because he was gifted with an execent taijutsu, instead of ninjutsu

Gai can't use Ninjutsu and he's a Jonin. Why wouldn't Lee graduate as well?

What I meant is that Guy wasn't able to use ninjutsu when he was around the same age as Lee. Of course he now uses ninja arts, since it's a requirement to become jonin...
