Why can't naruto create rasengan with just one hand?

Ok the rasengan is a very complex jutsu, it's the highest point you can reach with shape manipulation. Naruto can't do it with just one hand because he hasn't bothered to train to do that...
If you read about the jutsu and understand it you will see that the reason why he was able to do it in kyubi mode was because he used the kyubi's chakra to act as a shield, something to maintain the shape an thus only focusing on the rotation and power.

Why is everyone still suggesting ideas? This is the reason...

I believe that most manga heroes are stupid so that when they are trying to learn something new, that it would have to be explained to them thoroughly, so that we- the readers - can completely understand what the hell is happening!

Pretty much yeah..
Also, I wouldn't say they are stupid, I would say they are just- not smart.
That is 2 different meanings.

I don't know if the Naruto Movies counts but on the last Movie of Naruto he did Rasengan with one hand like 3 times.
