why cant nagato walk?

His legs got blown up cuz he protected Konan from Hanzo's explosives(Gedo Mazo has nothing to do with this, he just used it to defeat Hanzo & rest - It made him weaker but didn't affect his mobility).

True but he could have also used one of the paths to restore himself (as he does while in Edo form).
I think it had more to do with that Chakra rod Structure he attached himself too. Years of not walking or moving left him in a fragile state, you wouldnt be able to walk if you remained sitting for several years.

asura path can Grow Extra Arms, Even extra Faces, I see no reason why it could just grow Nagato a new pair of shiny leggs to help him walk.

But as everyone has stated above, I believe it's because Hanzo used paper bombs that exploded as Nagato made contact on the ground.

The Asura path can only grow arms and faces - it's used as a puppet. It wouldn't be able to grow limbs(robotic even) on other people.
