Why can't Madara be the host of the ten tails?

Obito, was able to use edo hosts for tailed beasts, so why cant Madara become the host for the ten tails? loophole? ten tails is too powerful? thoughts?

Obito was controlling the jinchurikis who can transform into tailed beasts while the juubi is just a tailed beast, you can't tame it that easily

The tailed beast's chakra was only being transmitted to the edo jinchuriki through the chakra rods, as even when naruto removed the rods, the beasts were still inside of the gedo mazo. They can't be directly sealed into an edo.

my guess would be that they were already in that state (jinchuuriki) BEFORE they were revived, now madara was never a host so to become one first he needs a live body.

edo is not fully understood yet and the power they can use im guessing is limited some how other wise why would diedera not just keep exploding yes i remember him saying its not art anymore but why would kabuto not just take control and keep using his ultimate art or why madera wouldnt just keep using perfect susanoo or somthining madera said he cant fully controlt he ten tails while edo so what is edo limiting i think that maybe we will find out once it goes back to sasuke and oro

I'm thinking that the reason why Madara in his current state cannot become the Ten-Tails Jinchuuriki is because of his Edo form. The Juubi could easily break apart Madara's body, and I'm assuming that you cannot layer another seal on top of the Edo Tensei seal. That, and perhaps the Juubi isn't completely able to be controlled.
