Why can't Jiraiya beat Itachi?

I don't know why most of you saying:
Itachi > Chakra mode Naruto
Itachi > Nagato
Itachi > Minato
Itachi > SM Jiraiya
Itachi > Raikage (A)
Just because he has susano, yata mirrow and ameterau. Well leave them all. Say about Jiraiya.. SM Jiraiya without knowledge > 3 paths.. He can use sound genjutsu with help of Ma and Pa. Summon giant toad. More experienced in battling. Incredible speed. Wonder how will this happen: Itachi > 3 paths of pein.
An Itachi clown made by zetsu was beaten by Kakashi and Naruto ( i know the clown didn't use ameterasu and susano )..don't like to say but, but Itachi is kinda overated...anyways, any ideas? I know I maybe wrong.

4-kubuto said itachi is on a different level from all the other shinobi

finally we have not seen itachi fight seriously so no one knows his real power but him being praised by top ninjas makes him one of the top to most ppl

All in all I don't think Jiraiya can beat Itachi, but I can't stand how the fanboys try and make it seem as if it would be a one hitter quitter type of battle. The first thing that flies out of their mouth is Amaterasu as if Jiraiya has nothing. Jiraiya may not be fast enough without Sage Mode but who's to say Jiraiya can't encase himself in his hair which requires no hand seals and is damn near instant, and once his hair is covered in Amaterasu use Lions Mane or Hair Needle Senbon. There are options people, just saying don't underestimate J-man.

I kinda agree with u ,itachi is overated .

I think itachi and j-man are about equally strong, but legendary weapons give itachi the edge, though he doesnt have lots of chakra.
