Loves... I know that you all have been praising this movie like everyone else most likely but this movie.... *sigh* I just can't get into it lol I have fell asleep trying to watch this movie 5. Times. Yes 5 times I attempted to make it through this and I just couldn't do it man. Maybe I'm watching it at the wrong time of day or do I need to put on some headphones and drink some coffee or what man because it's just been a damn bore to me. Maybe I need to just buy it in 4K so it can look pretty for me and I'll finally appreciate it but IDK WHAT THE HELL PEOPLE LIKE ABOUT IIIIIIT. I mean yea it's about this drug war thing man I don't know I kept pulling out my phone every five seconds because it was just boring me to death. I feel bad saying it because it's some real topics going on in this film but the way they approached it.... and then people say the acting is good. Cinematography spot on but man... I just keep falling asleep and because I just don't see the jewel you all see. All I see is a drug war documentary with a bigger budget (JK CHILL BRO) Apparently Rotten Tomatoes sees this as a thriller too.... man am I just not meant for this movie??? Half of the time I'm agreeing with RT but on this one... idk. It's like everytime I put the movie in I want to take it out and do something else. Believe last time I just cut it off and starting watching HighSchool DxD.... (That time it was Akash's fault he kept posting pics of Emma Watson, made me think of Kineko) ANYWAYS getting off topic lol So did you all enjoy this? Am I just a dumbass for having not liked it? Or is this movie just not for me?​

Yeah, I multitasked a bit watching it myself and the thrills aren't the greatest in the world, but the ending came as a bit of a shock and del Toro made it worth it.
