why can madara travel though dimensions as a juubi jinchuriki? but obito couldnt

I don't really understand this.

I knew that Obito couldn't phase in and out, because his body is a vessel for the Juubi, so that means that he would have to send the entire thing at once or not at all.

But then there is this problem, Madara was sliced in half but yet he could send half of his body to the other dimension.

It could be that Madara has a better control over the Juubi, because as we saw Obito was struggling to keep it under his control.

Not really, since his body was the vessel for the juubi he would also have to phase juubi to kamuiland. plus his phasing tech is probably the most difficult one as well, just imagin how much he'd have to concentrate to send just the right parts to kamuiworld.

Same thing as teleporting away he still has to send the whole jubi to kamui land...an no his phasing tec should not be difficult seeing as how he's been useing it for a very long time.

I think Obito couldn't phase/teleport because he did not absorb the god tree like Madara. There may also be some limitation such that the god tree and the juubi must be in the same dimension.

This might be my tenth time posting this.
But...

It was never stated that he couldn't travel to kamui. He couldn't "let things pass through him" which isn't the same as just going to kamui, for instance like how when he traveled to the kamui dimension when he had to save naruto or just going normally.
Obviously both techniques take him to kamui but Apparently, in different ways.
We can tell this b/c his "intangibility" (quotes b/c it's not really intangibility) is instant while when he travels the other way it takes some time.
