So Naruto was firing the highest shape and nature transformation there is (even two rasenshurikens), with senjutsu infused on top and Sasuke fires a lightning arrow from his Susanoo.
Definitely not the highest shape and nature transformation.
Sure he had the bijou's mixed into his Susanoo (would that be the reason for the stalemate) but still, I find it odd how these attacks cancel each other out. Kishi should have made Sasuke fire something stronger, like a Kagatsuchi lightning arrow imo.

Indra arrow was also the highest shape and nature manipulation jutsu as it was lightning arrow( nature ) and sasuke shape it into an arrow( shape manipulation).

This isn't dragon ball where you have 2 kamehamehas hitting each other until one is overtaken. The 2 attacks didn't "cancel out". "Cancel out" means no explosion. Sasuke's arrow simply exploded when it collided with naruto's measly attack.

I know how to read a manga.

The highest form of shape manipulation is the rasengan form as said by several characters, among them is Kakashi.
An arrow shape is not the highest form of shape manipulation someone can do.
It is a form of shape manipulation, but not the highest form.

Maybe the words cancel out were poorly chosen. I meant one didnt overtake the other.

Yeah, so as in the OP, the bijous that were mixed into his Susanoo made the arrow of really high quality, whereas Naruto didnt had the power to unleash his strongest attack.

Still I wonder why Sasuke didnt mix in some Kagatsuchi in the arrow, seeing he did so in their final clash (Chidori Kagatsuchi vs Rasengan).
