Why be ignorant to Tsunade?

I rarely make these type of threads, and i'm not going to jump into Tsunade's abilities and do these huge explanations on why she's become a VERY strong character in this series.

All i'm saying is, why underrate her? She's an indestructable tank, with the most strength we've seen in the entire Narutoverse. If she catches you, your simply dead. She put a gaping hole in a level 2 Susano'o. Then she caught Madara, and put a hole in him? I really don't see how she's underrated so god damn much by this base.

I guess it's due to all the mainstream idiots, the people who just jump on the bandwagon so they can get their useless post count up.

People doubt her Regeneration Technique? Saying if a part of her body ( Like her head ) Was taken off, she would die instantly somehow? I don't get it. Sure, decapitation in real life would kill you. But Tsunade's regeneration is more of a liquid type of regeneration, the injured part of her body isn't recovered solidly, it's sort of like Tobi's disappearence jutsu, but the body part that is lost, is actually gone. It just regenerates it from the base of her body. If she got decapitated, it wouldn't make a difference. She would still be standing due to the regeneration.

I'm not going any further into it, stop underrating the indestructable Tsunade >_>

the reason she is underrated is because most of the series she never showed any real power and all the noobs thought she was a joke now that she is not most ppl dont wanna admit they were dead wrong about her so they try and keep up the act of how weak she is

fact of the matter is she is the last kage standing made even more impressive by the fact the she is the only one cut in half

I think the main reason why i dont aknowledge her strength is because of the whole pain thing. Any other kage in the narutoverse wouldve went straight at pain instead of allowing him to roam freely through their village, killing people and destroying everything. I understand she was still saving lives another way but thats just how i feel personally. Shes still a strong character though. No disrespect

I don't know where you got your concepts of Tsunade's regenerative abilities from, but she wouldn't survive a decapitation.

Her regenerative abilities are chakra and cell-based. In other words, she uses massive amounts of chakra to push her cells into overdrive in order to recover more quickly than normal. This still requires her chakra network and the vast majority of her organs to be intact. She cannot generate completely new body parts to replace ones that are severed; her technique forces the existing cells in her body to divide more quickly than normal to augment the natural healing processes of the body. Put simply, if her heart is removed completely, she cannot generate another heart from stem cells. This goes for any other part of her body. She still needs a part of that organ/body part in order to force the cells to divide and begin the healing process.

Since she stores her reserves in her forehead, though, she may be able to survive slightly longer than your average person if she were decapitated, but without her heart, lungs, etc. still connected and relatively undamaged, she would die within a few minutes if not in seconds.

That being said, she does have one of the most advanced recovery techniques in the series, and can likely survive any injury that is not immediately fatal. This includes getting cut in half. As the previous chapter with Katsuyu indicates, Tsunade likely has the ability to reconnect herself if the two halves of her body are placed back together. Keep in mind though, that she is split at the waist, not at the neck and she doesn't seem to be missing any vital organs.

Agreed! Let's just put it this way, the other kages are only as good as how long tsunade will last in the battle. If she can still keep, they can keep. I'm guessing that's what happend in the battle.

I love Tsunade and she's certainly powerful but she has without a doubt been both underrated and overrated.
