Why Be Against Sasuke Returning To Konoha?

The latest info. about the upcoming movie implies that Sasuke is working for Konoha under Rokūdaime Hokage Kakashi and yet some Sasuke fans are saying it's better for Sasuke to die in his fight with Naruto instead of being converted, How come? If Sasuke is back serving Konoha then he would be following Itachi's footsteps which is a good thing:

That's what Itachi always wanted for Sasuke anyway, to protect and serve Konoha as a loyal Shinobi under the incumbent Hokage, so why the protest? Why the opposition? Did others seriously expect Sasuke to be successful with his "revolution" ? we all know he's not going to pull through with it, so what do some of his fans want? For him to die believing his misguided ideology? That's a bad way of ending Sasuke's character, it's much better for him to make peace with Naruto and stop this cycle of hatred and violence once and for all.

I agree. Although Sasuke's "revolution" is a dumb thing, Naruto's ideas aren't any better. They are too childish. But of course, seeing Naruto being the main character, he will eventually win that fight, bringing Sasuke back to Konoha. What you said is really true, if Sasuke dies then it would be the worst end for his character. Currently, Sasuke's still a bad character, immature one who still doesn't treasure what Itachi did. He's going to destroy the whole world with his revolution, and become the leader of the new world, basically a dictator. Itachi's words were "Hokage is the one who is acknowledged by the others". Sasuke doesn't have this, no one acknowledges him and everyone tries to use him. In the end, Sasuke's a bad character despite all this.
