[Discussion] Why Bartolomeo should be a Straw Hat

I want them to either be Bartolomeo or Viola. Both of their abilities can be Mightily crucial for the crew.
Viola would be the ships Dancer
and Bartolomeo would be the typical Luffy fanboy

I think you're underrating barto a little too much, Even though his barriers work in only one direction their still powerful as hell.

Frank's iron general could handel anything they dis out and general cannon blew up a part of a moumtain. Franky could do it extreme Diff.
Robins ability to create so many limbs is more than enough not to mention Gigantos manos could crush everyone but luffy. Luffy would have to get beat around alot cause he's rubber but enough gaint hits would end him plus her training may have been as extreme as The m3's since she was staying with the worlds most dangerous man. Robin high diff
Brook's quick kill is only matched by pre-skip luffy's gears and luffy is weak to sword attacks. Draw Or brook Extreme Diff.

Gears were a two handed sword and against brook it wouldn't have killed him so it would just hurt luffy and Asura is slower than quick kill at post skip.

Yea but almost nothing has crushed him. Oz hit him. fine. Sword slashes. Fine. gear third jet rifle or anything he could throw out are way softer than what Oz was dishing out.

Robin is not fast enough to contend with luffy, zoro, or sanji.. They would end her with little difficulty.

Barto won't be a solid candidate for nakama unless Oda decides to give him two things: a more impressive backstory than "I decided to become a pirate like my idol Luffy-senpai", and a bigger involvement in the story. Every nakama got an arc with a lot of spotlight just for them. Barto lost whatever importance he had when he failed to win the Mera Mera no Mi.
