And you forgot the part where the Uchiha retreated into their own sector and were cold and isolated themselves from everyone after the Kurama incident. They didn't stage the coup because of the corrupt polotics. They planned the coup because they were shunned for something they didn't do. Which is false because it was an Uchiha that started it all(Obito)....Just not the Uchiha everyone thought. Instead of following Hiruzen's way and open up a dialog with the leaders. They chose to retreat into their own clan.
Danzo used this to further the emnity between Clan and Village...and it eventually led to their destruction. The Uchiha are as much to blame as the elders.
People will retaliate if they are not treated fair.. that is a law that has been established by our history .... So trying to put the blame on people who retaliated to unjust treatment, and corruption of the village is kind of dumb. Unless you believe people don't have the right to overthrow their government. Uchiha were not politicians.. they were normal citizens, who were made police.. and when they were trying to do their job.. they got played.
Notice that you are only taking manga into account and not the anime. And don't try to play that (non-canon) card on me, cause i'll just tell you to go discuss it with someone else then, cause if you can't defend your point by using the anime also.. then you just can't defend your point at all.
So lets discuss about what happened:
- Uchiha get seperated because Tobirama fears another Madara Uchiha.. so as a precaution he makes them the police and so on. and puts them on the outskirts of the village.
- Obito was not an Uchiha clan member at that time, clan =/= blood. Clan is a group of members.. Just like Madara was not part of the uchiha clan when he left the clan.. yet i still see people claiming he was.. no. The clan holds no responsibility for their actions.
- Uchiha were made to protect the village, were they not? Yet when it came to protection ..
the orders from Danzo and etc were for them to not come to the battlefield. (Many already speculate Danzo caused the attack, due to the mere fact he had already met Obito). But instead escort people to safety.. something that should be the job of low ranked members. and because of that people started to turn on the Uchiha.. Just like people insult real police during the times of war.
- So they obeyed the village orders, while their original intent was to protect the village.. and in doing so they were shunned over and over..
- While all this happened, Hiruzen and Danzo were bickering.. plans of assassinating Hiruzen were going on by Danzo and Orochimaru. << No one calls out this treason against the village.
- So when the Uchiha see this and Itachi tells them the state of Konoha leadership.. they rile up, because their job is the
SAFETY of the village. And Danzo and Hiruzen's bickering wasn't helping protect the village.. just the opposite.
- Itachi was a tool for Danzo and Hiruzen. Notice that Itachi only planned to kill the uchiha when Obito who pretended to be Madara threatened to attack the village. And you think that happened magically? Obito just happened to be there?
