Why aren't there snipers in Naruto?

It is not "kill" or not get killed. It is kill for a reason, and fight like a man.

aka the Spartan way. Before you take literal and say "Spears are old".. it means face to face. not sniping someone from 500 ft away.

i hope you do realize.. if you snipe your basically a sissy boy.

"Shinobis" don't snipe.. they can sneak attack but not snipe.. why?? because it is a insult to the person being killed

I think, in the Naruto world, all powerful shinobis have the ability to sense and deflect any attack that isnt powerful or fast enough. So, sniping wont work on the strong ones. Further, since a village's security is so good, sniping is only possible outside a village's premises.

+ Most of sneaky attacks include kunai being thrown from a distance..that's kinda sniping..
