Why are you all saying that Sasuke would have never gotten MS if it wasn't for Itachi

(first of all I'm not a fanboy , even though my profile and this thread might look to you otherwise ) .....so let's get to the topic (I'm actually going back all the way to Part 1 Naruto in this thread ) , exactly as the thread's title states , my question is : Why are you all saying that Sasuke would have never gotten MS if it wasn't for Itachi ?

I'm asking a simple question ..

While it is true that Itachi awakened that power for him ....but still why are you saying that ..,when clearly in the final battle between Naruto and Sasuke in Part 1 , when the fight ended with Sasuke as the last man standing ..., he could've killed Naruto to gain the MS way back ( you would say he couldn't because he ran out of Chakra in the fight so he didn't have the power to kill him ) i would say : but he could've just grabbed a kunai or something you know ? ...., but regardless , Sasuke didn't and he couldn't let himself kill his best friend whom he actually acknowledged as that in that particular fight , and he chose to get power on his own way while at that time Itachi had told him time and time again that he "lacks hatred" and that he must " kill his best friend , in order to gain the MS to fight him "

your thoughts ???

I think there could be a way he can awaken it himself.

Itachi probably tweaked the truth a bit in order to get Sasuke to fight Naruto which was a critical fight for him. He "temporarily" (Itachi wanted Sasuke to eventually kill hi and be hailed a hero by the leaf later on ) severed his bonds with the leaf and developed his 3 Tomoe sharingan.

In regards to tweaking the truth, he emphasized killing your "friend" where in actuality it's probably just whoever is closest to you at the time. Itachi was not only a friend to Sasuke in the past but was close to him in terms of his life goals dedicated towards killing him and obsession over his hatred.

Oh look another Sasuke fanboy. Naruto was also holding back in that fight if he wanted to he could have killed Sasuke but he just wanted to scratch his headband all of Sasuke's powers are handed to him he cant do anything by pure trainning.

im kinda surprised we gotta go into this but its clear that part 2 sasuke doesnt care about naruto while part 1 did at least a little bit. actually when you look at it he should thank tobi for his MS, he probably would be running around all happy that itachi was dead if he hadnt told him the truth.

Actually i also believe that sasuke couldve awakened it. For example if he was very close to any of his hawk team members and they were to die, that could cause him to awaken it

Well if you read the manga, you'd know Itachi did not awaken his Mangekyou Sharingan by killing his bestfriend (Shisui Uchiha), so who's to say Sasuke's would have even obtained it by killing Naruto, since no one has yet to gain Mangekyou Sharingan through physically killing their bestfriend.

actually when itachi told him he needed to kill his best friend to unlock ms in reality itachi was closer to him than naruto regardless if he hated itachi, he was closer with him than naruto

Personally I think Naruto wasn't trying to kill Sasuke, noticed in the end he moved his attacked to Sasuke's headband. It's been proven that rasengan trumps chidori (The water tanks on top of the hospital). Therefore, if Naruto were to hit Sasuke straight up Rasegan vs. Chidori, Sasuke would be out. Instead he wanted to hit the headband, because in beginning of the fight Sasuke said that he wouldn't get a scratched on that thing, and there's no point in putting it on.

actually the reason why sasuke got the ms was because of Tobi. If tobi didnt tell sasuke about itachi's life sasuke wont have had the emotional strain needed to activate MS.

Itachi and tobi played a big role in sasuke gaining MS and EMS is again due to tobi and Itachi. Tobi did the transplant with itachi's eyes which he clearly could have easily just fooled him hardcore.

But anyway, tobi needs sasuke for something, what that is is bejond me he has his hands full with naruto.
