Naruto Uzumaki only chased after Sasuke Uchiha because he MADE A PROMISE to Sakura Haruno! Yes, Naruto considered him a friend, but if it wasn't for Sakura crying like a baby for Naruto to do something, Naruto wouldn't have. Please get your facts straight.

As for Karin. Read your manga over! She used her sob story of being obsessed with Sasuke to get the Konoha Ninja's off her back. If you didn't notice, Karin had a bunch of tools behind said picture, and I bet she picks her way out of the cell she was tossed into. :/

I agree with practically everything of your post except for the first part. Naruto had already decided he would get Sasuke back before Sakura started to cry. She met them at the gate where he and the others were gathered. Then she made him promise he would bring Sasuke back, but he had already decided that on his own. That and Naruto always wants to save everyone.

LoL, i have noo idea. But karin was "pretending" to obesse over his picture. It was just like a box and the lid had sasukes picture. We saw her lifting it up and theres was some weapons under it. she probably planned on escaping with it. So its not really a picture but more like...i cant find the word im looking for.
