Why are there so many weak adult Shinobi in the NV?

These days it seems like many kids are surpassing the adults who should have 10x more experience than them. This war has killed countless people and they were all grown ups. Usually during a war, you would expect the guy with more experience to show more than the noob who just got promoted to a new rank. What's even more pathetic is that most of these so called "adults" can only scream and throw kunai. There are only a select hand few of adults that are actually where they should be, Gai, Tsuande and Onoki. What's the purpose of living as a shinobi if you're not going to develop newer jutsus and get stronger. I believe that the K11 did better than these fodder adults which were probably about 80% of the SA.

When you take a look at Iruka sensei and Ebisu, they are even weaker than Konohamaru, which is genin level, which is embarrassing to people Iruka and Ebisu's age. Aoba, Kotetsu and that other fodder are also midgets in comparison to younger generation. What's the deal with that?

It looks very stupid seeing 16 and 17 year old kids beating grown as men who have probably lived through three world wars compared to the younger group.

Back when Madara and Hashirama were kids, it was stated that Madara was stronger than most adults during his time. Why is that the case? Why are adults so weak that they get outshined by younger kids?

they have to have learned from their clans so are prodigies like most of k11 or they have great powerups like naruto sasuke and kakashi xd they were fighting weak fake hashirama clones so don't be too hard on them they were used to fighting other fodder shinobi in the other wars

Overall you see who the manga wants you to see.. The focus is the youth and the power of the young... Now does anyone realize that the main people everyone is bring up is the core group of characters: K11, Kages, and Other legendary ninjas... The war is made up of ninjas ranging from 13-60+ years old any and all active ninja above genin... we aren't seen to many of the younger ninjas and not too many of the really older ones. Why because they've been killed off War doesn't discriminate against age it's War. When they survived the other wars they probably were young or younger ninjas at that time and they probably were lucky enough to survive because of different reasons. That doesn't mean they were stronger in fact the fact that we are seeing more older ninjas die shows them willing to die for the future generation. K11 is a remarkable class/generation because if you look at the majority of ninjas they didn't rise up to become chunnin, Jonin, or even kage level to until later on in life... kakashi said it best "there are SOME ninjas younger than him and even some younger than naruto that were stronger than him".. So it's just like anything else their are some ninjas stronger and some ninjas weaker age isn't as much a factor as we would like to believe it's more the natural skill with the proper training
