Why are some people trying to excuse away Obito's crimes now?

But yea bro, we aren't defending his actions.. we are defending Naruto calling hima cool guy... and why it wasn't something to rage about.. Obito is not a hero.. neither is Itachi.. neither is Nagato... Yet the other 2 are praised as Heroes for some reason. And its just funny that the many who disagree and complain about Obito getting called "cool" by Naruto are the ones who call Nagato and Itachi "heroes" "saviors".

In reality, Itachi/Nagato/Obito died as neutral people who had "cleansed" for their mistakes in the past. That is it. Naruto simply called Obito a cool guy, because obito wanted to be a Hokage and now he had just given his life for Naruto and Kakashi.. <<< That right there is saying alot already.


I mean i even explained the situation in a full depthful post , and how things connected .. Yet some people are still spouting the samething..

Agreed,I wouldn't exactly call Itachi and Nagato heroes but they were simply put into a bad situation or circumstance that neither could get out of.Same with Obito.

I've been noticing a lot of posts defending or even waving away Obito's previous actions in several threads.Some people were even excusing his actions that caused the deaths of Naruto's parents by saying it was "Kid Obito". As if that is supposed to be some justification.

Obito may have died this chapter, but let's not sweep the things he did under the rug and pretend it didn't happen.

thank you! i totally agree and thanks for making this thread! i liked obito when he was little, but he committed many atrocious acts and killed people. his excuses do not make up for his murders. did naruto forget what he did to neji? i do pity him but i can't excuse him for his actions!

Not really. I didn't see Itachi doing anything about Danzo attacking Shisui. No Obito gave his body ok. He gave his dream. He gave his future. He gave his LIFE for his comrades. Itachi ran away, that ain't the same.


Uchiha were the same people, who were trying to protect the village when the 9-tails attacked.. but were ordered byt he higher ups not to interefere.. they are the same people who got the blame for the kyuubi attack.. They are the same people who had to deal with the bs of "why weren't you the police force fighting against the kyuubi".... Dude Itachi's RESPONSIBILITY WAS TO GET JUSTICE FOR HIS PEOPLE.
Did Itachi go to Hiruzen and Danzo and say "Hey listen, Uchiha want to protect the village, the crap you 2 having going on with each other ain't helping it. "

"Hey you guys are the ones who told the uchiha not interfere in the kyuubi attack, so why are you blaming them?".. no he listened to freaking Danzo and killed his comrades..

The proof is in all your posts buddy you can't debate against some ones opinion something like that isn't even considered a debate depending on what you say it may even be considered a rant. You're arguing against a persons right to view something a certain way that's not a debate. When have you ever heard a debate stated like this? You can not or should not feel this way about someone because his person did this...? That's just ****ing ridiculous right because multiple times you've BASICALLY said that people should not look past everything Obito has done. That's THEIR OWN opinion. You can't debate feelings because opinions are irrelevant in a debate. If you feel the need to question some ones feelings toward something you're motives are to get people to see things the way you see them which is wrong. Now a real debate would be making a post stating "Obito has not obtained retribution for this that and the third reason." Questioning someone's RIGHT to feel a certain way or forgive a fictional character is NOT debating. And if you were only trying toget insight as you claimed you would have asked people why they DECIDED to forgive Obito and yes state your own reason for not forgiving him that's fine. When you cross the line from being someone looking to have a debate to an arrogant poster trying to force your believes on everyone else is when you post things like this "we should not sweep the things he did under the rug or say that we should not forgive. You can't debate that because forgiveness is simply letting hints go letting go. Not holding something against some one.
