Nobody forgot Obito's crimes not even Naruto ( refer to his final moments as Juubi Jin ) but at the same time he did try to redeem himself, its not like he was evil from birth, he was corrupted. but once again this place is filled with double standards as Itachi fans aren't ones to talk.

To be fair... he killed his clan to save tons of more people.

Itachi is my 2nd most favorate character, it does not matter what itachi did because regardless the Uchiha extermination was going to happen not because of itachi but because of "Danzo, Hiruzen and Elders". His actions was not justified because there were many ways to prevent that. They just chose the wrong choice. His actions make little difference, If not itachi someone else would have done it. They would have found someone else or Danzo's hidden Soldiers would do it.

Stop making everything about Itachi. IT SIMPLY DOES NOT MATTER. I do not hate itachi, I hate everyone's choice to kill a WHOLE clan because they could not understand or atleast try to understand their circumstances. I have quotes of itachi on my computer because what he says is true even in our world. He is an AMAZING character but nothing justifies what was done to the Uchiha clan.

I'm not talking about itachi right now i'm talking about obito. I just brought up that because you seem so ignorant, I thought u were one of those dudes who still think itachi is "evil". In everything... both the narutoverse and the real world there is no "good" and "evil" its all about intentions,perspectives,and morals. Obito was indeed the cause of multitudes of problems in the narutoverse and I am not justifying those acts. The thing is, is that obito's whole fall to darkness was orchestrated by madara. Originally obito was just a good little kid like naruto. Naruto is like an obito v2 except he was never manipulated by some evil genius like madara uchiha. So I hate obito's actions and madara uchiha but I still respect the true character of obito who deeply cared for his friends.

Maybe you guys need to calm down and actually read the context of the sentence, Naruto said: 'Obito wanted to become Hoakge ..... to me he was the coolest guy' .... He is clearly referring to the part of Obito who wanted to protect others.

Also you guys might have conviniently forgotten that Naruto asked Obito to face the consequences of his actions after switching sides during his TNJ.

Not my point both are murderers there's no excusing that, but how can you forgive one because he had a explanation for a crime, but condemn the other even though with his help Madara/Kaguya would have already won.
Obito had absolutely no reason to help Naruto and co, but he did anyway.

Kakashi also wasn't manipulated by an evil genius like madara. Madara didn't just manipulate obito's dark emotional feelings but actually created them. That is how malevolent and devious madara was.
