Why are Sasuke and Naruto so hated by a lot of people?

I hate Sasuke because of how weak willed he is and how he doesn't love up to his own hype. He changes his kind at the drop of a hat, has been swayed by Itachi, Orochimaru, Obito, used, and has no honor. I respected him in Part 1 but now he's just being an entitled little drama queen and thinks his pain is greater than everyone else's.

And he's supposed to be a genius, but he gets rolled by Deidara, Ay, Killer Bee, Ohnoki, and only beat Itachi because he let him. Then he attacked Madara out of turn twice and paid both times.

But, that's just me. I officially hated him when he thought slaughtering innocent people was justifiable for his butthurt.

Well I'm a Sasuke fan. It's not that I hate the Naruto character, it's that I dislike his development and storyline. I mean he is the main character but he barely used his own power throughout the series. Even when fighting Sasuke he used Kurama's power. He only seemed to depend on Kurama until he attained SM.

Sasuke depended on his own strength at a young age. He didn't have Kurama to heal him or give him a boost in power. He just practiced and became good. Once he got CM, he then depended on that which I didn't like but then It was taken away and he went back to his own power.

Naruto also talked alot of crap but couldn't back it up with his own strength, which also annoyed and aggravated me about his character. He had to use kurama.

There are other reason aswell, this is just the gist.

Naruto couldn't even use the chakra from Kurama and wasn't even aware of it until he was 12. That was around the same time Sasuke got the cursemark from Oro in the Forest of Death. They've both been relying on powers that they were not born with at the same time. Naruto used Kurama in his fight w/ Sasuke just as Sasuke used CM.

You criticize Naruto for using Kurama's chakra and bragging, but as of now Sasuke brags too and relies on Itachi's eyes.

They're even in "not using their own power".

when exactly did he get beat by deidara? he messed Deidara up during that fight. Agaisnt Killer Bee, it was stated in the manga that Sasuke was still recovering from his battle against Itachi and he didnt even have one ms ability yet. Oohnoki only got to him because he was so tired out after battling 3 KAGES. He also was about to end A's life and that fight enver even ended. Plus right after that fight he got full susanoo which tanked everyones attacks anyway

its the freaking ninja world. Anything goes. kiba uses akamaru. Shino uses his bugs which technically emans hes using billions of other thigns to help him. Killer Bee has Gyuuki. Kakashi has Ms from obito. Madara has hashi dna and sage mode. Obito has hashi dna. Danzo had like 20 sharingan and senju dna. Kabuto was basically like 6 people in one. Gaara is using his mother's power. Sasori used other people's poiwers. Kisame had samehada and so on.

WTF?? Sasuke isn't weak willed and atleast he is a real character that doesn't always rely on Kurama's power for hype. He never changed his mind at the drop of a hat. Also the people that you mentioned are master manipulators and would of had Naruto barking like a dog if they told him to. Sasuke was corrupted and had a darkness in him since a young age. It matured into hate which made him go alittle insane.

Even Naruto went insane a few times and into serial killer mode once or twice. Luckily he always had people there as a plot shield to stop him so he didn't kill anyone in that situation.

Actually they are both extremely popular characters, they both make the top 3 on every Shounen Jump poll. But the main characters of any form of fiction generally have a lot of haters, some people don't like the fact that their favorites don't get the spotlight as much.

Its not that Sasuke changes his mind its that he moves according to his own understanding of truth and that is a bit problematic when your world is shrouded in lies.
Sasuke's character has solely pursued justice for his clan (that is all), but as his concept of truth changed so did his methods of achieving justice.

Sasuke relied mostly on his own power in part 1. Right up until he left Konoha and fought Naruto with CM. But Naruto relied on Kurama's power in almost every battle in Part 1.

This ^^ wasn't even the main point of my statement. Also they are not even in "not using their own power." Sasuke may brag about the power he has now from receiving Itachi's eyes, but it doesn't compare to how Naruto received as much power as he did from Kurama and also how many times Kurama' healed and saved him.

He doesn't care about the Village, he doesn't care about the people that called him friend, he would betray anyone and do anything if it means achieving his own goals. Sasuke showed this when he didn't blink at abandoning the entire SA to die, when Obito was going to kill them all with the four Tailed Beast balls.

Sasuke will join any side, including terrorists if it means accomplishing his own goals. Now this does allow him to be manipulated easily at times, but its because he will do anything to achieve his goals no matter the consequences, so if someone hangs whatever he needs right in front of him and says do this if you want it, he will do it without thinking twice.

I agree with the deidara part but the oro part was because of kyuubi. But honestly, when has Naruto ever gone a complete character change? Only change I have seen is he stopped doing pranks ever since the pain fight. He basically pranked pain by transforming clones into rocks lmao

Madara: Gets as strong as he possibly to protect what is important-fails, blames world, turns to fantasy land
Obito: First love died, killed sensei, his wife, third's wife, and messed up and manipulated so many ppl's lives just to choke at the last minute, because a 16 year old child.
Itachi: He tried to manipulate everything on his own failed miserably and recieved enlightenment upon death.

Sasuke simply believes in justice and stands up for his clan's name. Sasuke doesnt want his tragedy to repeat so he wants to change the current system

He is doing it for his brother's sake, he wants to be like his brother and make his sacrifice worthwhile.
