Because they are emotionally attached to a supporting character.

That is not bad, by the way. It simply means the author was successful. The only thing that is off about it is that some of them account seem to accept that he is a supporting character. So when Kishimoto does not give the character the same attention as the MC, they fanboys get upset.

They should just read and accept this
