Why are Sakura and Hinata hated so much?

It's because of the stupid pairing wars.

1. Pairing wars.
2. Annoying fanbases. Neither Sakura or Hinata fans can debate as well as most other fanbases. Another problem is that some people who dislike either character tend to make threads overrating said character just to piss more people off.
3. Poor character portrayal. Both characters get trolled often when it comes to power, action/inaction or personality.

Sakura has more haters though since she gets more screentime which annoys people more so than Hinata. Also Sakura's harsher personality tends to attract more haters as well.
