Why are people trying to take away Hiruzens feat?

So what Hashirama and Tobirama didnt have there free will, they were turned into killing machines and tried to kill Hiruzen on multiple Occasions
And if they did have there emotions and what not, that would only hinder them from attacking there prize student
And it was never said because they didnt have there Will that it would weaken them in anyway
And besides Hiruzen was old, so the odds were against him

The Edo Tensei Orochimaru used was a little bit different. They did whatever Orochimaru wanted them to do. It was like Orochimaru was using those jutsu's himself. He didn't know their fighting style, so hence they were weaker. At least that's what I think. If Hashirama beat Madara then he should be a lot stronger than what we've seen.

And by your logic... That would mean Hiruzen > Madara (The one that Hashirama beat. Not Edo Madara.)

ill explain why hashi and the second sucked back then:

when an edo is summoned if they will not choose to fight on their own the edo tensi summoner must control them and based on what hashi said at the time he was forced to so oro cannot use hashi powers anywhere near on the level hashi could himself i mean oro probably didnt even know about hashi then he has wood style etc

remeber recently the flower tree world that covered an area like the size of a village that is what madara did using hasi powers and being willing to use them and we all know hasi was even stronger then madara so again the reason why hasi seemed weak is because it wasnt him fighting

Yes, we know he was a Sannin. But your logic has flaws. What are these flaws?

1. Orochimaru was controlling every single thing they did, except for talking. It was like Orochimaru was using the Jutsus himself, but in a different body.

2. Hashirama defeated Madara. With your logic you would be saying Hiruzen > Madara (not Edo.)

3. We didn't see strong jutsus from those two at all. If Hashirama defeated Madara then he must have had stronger jutsu then what was shown.

Neither Hashirama nor Tobirama went 100% in that fight.

• Did you see Hashirama using any of the other massive Mokuton techniques he used against Madara? No.
• Did you see Hashirama using his advanced sealess regeneration? No.
• Did you see Hashirama using any of his several giant scrolls? No.

If Hashirama and Tobirama used everything they had in their battle against Hiruzen, Hiruzen would have been overwhelmed and killed and Konoha would have been destroyed.

The Hashirama and Tobirama that took part in the battle against Hiruzen were mere shadows of their true selves. The only reason they didn't go all out is because Kishi didn't want Hiruzen to die that way. He wanted Hiruzen to die protecting the village.

Hiruzen Sarutobi has proven to be the strongest Hokage ever

Hiruzen was dubbed "the god of shinobi" at his time.
He might be the strongest ninja because he was trained by the Senju clan and the Sarutobi clan is known for mastering techniques easily (Konohamaru for example, he "mastered" Rasengan quicker than Minato and Naruto).

I believe Hiruzen is the most skilled shinobi, but not the strongest.
