Until the manga validates these posers (They look aren't even intimidating when compared to the original swordsmen of the mist) as canon, they are filler. Is this derailing? Agreed but we've had 18-19 year old or even younger Kage level ninjas in the previous manga so one would expect the new swordsmen to be at least at Jonin level.

Ofc you can enjoy it, i enjoy it also but i can label them as filler.
That is actually quite impressive considering similar techs have almost OHKO'd Kakashi, Lee and Neji. It's just basic water manipulation really, but damn that can be lethal.

Well ya, only Neji was able to destroy all 3x water prisons alongside kisame's clones.... however Kakashi he was getting killed if not Naruto n Sasuke.
But remember Kisame's 30% clone did it too. He does have that Hoshigaki blood anyway.
