let kabuto seal itachi and you will see the raging sasuke we are used to seeing..
This is a taste of sasuke's real power:

And this is what were getting from Sasuke:

They are holding back
Because they cannot kill Kabuto
You must be registered for see images
Instead they were going to target Kabuto with genjutsu and force him to undo the edo tensai....

However Genjutsu is not going to work on Kabuto

So Itachi is using Izami:
Whatever it does it has some sort of controlling power because Itachi can not kill Kabuto...but if its the ultimate eye technique whatever it controls whether it be time, space, the opponent, the opponents destiny or fate is the answer to subjecting Kabuto
I think it was administered right here:

As you can see in the little box on the left hand panel it sayed the jutsu was already released.
If it turns out to be true that means the whole time Sasuke was getting "owned" by Kabuto was a fake.
But back on topic. I'm not saying Sasuke is powerful enough to stop Naruto or he's Madara's level or some junk like that. Don't misinterpret all I'm saying is right now Sasuke is holding back and working with Itachi to get Kabuto under control not kill him.
So where not seeing sasuke fight with killer intent
its not just the sasuke haters, its also the fanboys, the ones who hype him up so much, then the sasuke haters take any chance of weakness in sasukes character they see, now for instance, even though they know he's holding back, they take a chance like this to down his character to show the fanboys that.... if he's so strong & talented, why not be more impressive? though even if it was reversed... take naruto & pain for example... pain couldve easily killed naruto, yet he didnt want to, his mission was to take him alive, which is one of the hardest things to do in the ninja world.. capturing a ninja alive is waaay harder than killing him... and... and even though pain failed, he is still praised...and now in this situation where sasuke is in this position... the hater just wants to have fun
It's almost like there's no balance in this thread on average, albeit some individuals have displayed it. Everyone is mentioning how hard it is for Sasuke and Itachi due to the fact that they can't kill Kabuto. A critical piece of information that's being left out of too many of these responses is that Kabuto can't kill Sasuke either, as he wants him alive (that's the whole reason he joined up with Tobi). Further, he just recently tried to regain control of Itachi rather than seal him (equivalent of death for an ET), which Sasuke prevented. The way so many of these arguments are structured (sorry to single yours out among them {it's a fine argument btw, just the most recent}) only point out that Sasuke and Itachi are holding back without mentioning that Kabuto is also holding back (i.e. not going for the kill/seal for Sasuke/Itachi respectively).
This is a critical point and completely changes the way the battle is interpreted, yet I'm baffled as to why it's not included in many of these arguments and would love clarification on that. Is it that people think it's so obvious? That doesn't make sense, as it has the same level of triviality as Sasuke's/Itachi's stated intentions. I guess that the most innocent interpretation is that people are too quick to defend an harsh view of Sasuke, that could be considered unfair, making them so focused on that task that they fail to complete the job, which includes incorporating Kabuto's role in the dynamics. You can't have coupled systems and properly discern the dynamics of one of them without studying both of the systems (basic dynamical systems - used as an applied analogy), in this case the dynamics refer to the fight between the Uchiha brothers and the systems are the Uchiha brothers and Kabuto. This is where people are failing.
Including the fact that Kabuto is holding back doesn't lesser Sasuke and Itachi and what they're facing in Kabuto given the way Kishi just jacked him up, surprisingly (pulling out dragon sage mode along with Suigetsu's, Karin's, and Juugo's abilities, lol). Honestly a key factor in my evaluation of arguments is how balanced and developed they are, and the absence of this simple property regarding Kabuto both makes the argument look unbalanced and also leaves open the potential interpretation that it is not simply left out but possibly excluded intentionally. This, if true, would be an egregious offense, as it would be like tampering with evidence and/or testimony and as obstruction of justice, where justice here is determining the truth of the situation. Now, I'm not accusing anyone of this. Thus, do not jump on me for doing so. I'm simply stating that the mere appearance of impropriety is always to be avoided.
Thus, please balance your arguments on this matter and in the future. Doing so will make them far superior.![]()
P.S.
1.) For everyone quoting the OP that's long as hell with all the manga pics, please put it in a spoiler tag. It's ridiculous to have a post that's 90% the quote of the OP (that's huge) followed by 10% of your own original content, given the size of the OP. Thank you
2.) A bit of advice to the OP as well. Please put your pics inside spoilers so that this is not an issue now and in the future. You can even edit your OP now to do this now if you care to. It's quite easy and brief. Thank you also.
Best, :izuna:
Peace
Because most people hate sasuke and they will use any chance they have to say he sucks. Not meI just enjoy the Naruto series
You're right, i pretty much just read the title and a bit of the OP and a few of the comments, so I simply answered the question with my opinion, which pretty much forces you with, or against it to begin with, theres hardly any balancing really, unless you decide to break up an argument, "sasuke sucks" "no no he's not fighting fully" etc, and also, in the end....just about everyone will have there favs, and for the favorite character of that person, there wont be much balancing...either my fav is better or not is what it is, im not saying sasuke is better than kabuto, although he is my fav, just saying people will have their opinions, balanced or not, in which -not-...making for better arguments most of the time ^^It's almost like there's no balance in this thread on average, albeit some individuals have displayed it. sure sasukes a jerk, very thick headed, and a villain, thee fans know that, And even though he's all that, he's still favorited by tons of ppl, some favor him mainly for that reason, that he's a jerk and a villain, and most favor him for his power...and thats a big part of it for all his fans, though its not all if it, for me at least...its his attitude...not that he's jerkish or whatnot, but the attitude that he's kept since he first appeared in the series, to me that attitude is priceless.... even with all of his power... if he were to act any different.. i really wouldnt like him anymore ^^ and its the same with gaara... a villain turned good, i believe kishi is a genius for that.. changing the objectives and out looks on life for the character and still keeping them their same old selves... its what makes the character...and as long as kishi doesnt take that from sasuke or gaara, i dont think fans will care how much power he gets or how much he gets beat up... he's still the same character we liked from the beginning, or at least 80 or 90% of the time..thus... not a sucky characterSasuke does kind of suck. Ignore the powers for now. Sure he has some cool powers and would be hard for most other ninjas to beat in a fight. But look at the character. He has been thick-headed, his motivations are all over the place (especially after killing Itachi), he's so stupid that he's being easily manipulated by more powerful and more intelligent characters (Itachi, Orochimaru, Tobi), his allegiances are suspect because he has no real motivations besides a blind need for revenge and some kind of personal vendetta against Naruto which is never really explained.
First he wants to kill Itachi without any talking, then he wants to talk to Itachi and chases him around. And why did Sasuke stop to chase Itachi? Because he has nowhere to go and is just wondering around looking for a fight like a bully. He killed the white Zetsu, even though they supposedly were on his side (Tobi did give him the EMS, and save his life twice). Sasuke is out to get revenge, but then he goes out and kills Zetsu who has helped him several times.
This is all not to mention that he abandoned Suigetsu and Juugo without even once asking where they went. He tried to kill Karin, even though her powers as a teammate gave him a significant tactical advantage in many fights. I mean, how stupid do you have to be to try and kill one of the most skilled sensor-type ninjas who also has an amazing healing power AND is pretty cute too? All for what, to kill Danzo? Danzo had one arm, was out of chakra, and was going to die anyway. Sasuke could easily have used a genjutsu or some other technique to let Karin escape. Hell, if Sasuke didn't want to, he could have just let Danzo kill her instead of trying to do it himself.
Sasuke is kind of a jerk, he's kind of a bully, he wants all sorts of revenge, but then he kills the people who are helping him. He just wants to kill people who have never hurt him, without ever trying to understand anybody's motivations.
