[Debate] Why are nerds considered ugly?

I am a so called "nerd" me and my friend watch japanese anime, hack pokemon roms, and jam 60s music all day.

Except
A) He is captain of the football team
B) I was voted most handsome man in the yearbook
c) I play guitar and drums
D) I have a girlfriend
E) I have more friends than I can count
F) Etc.


So why do people have to assume that being a nerd means you are ugly and have no life? You do realize that you gys are also on a nerdsite calling others nerds....right?

you must remember something, this world is ruled by idiots. Idiots that will have you thinking its COOL to be dumb. Its COOL to get bad grades. Its COOL to fail at life. These people want u to think that what you are doing is wrong. When you are just fine. Don't follow the idiots that claim to be cool, because in five years, you will see who is cool and who is not. My teacher said that to me some years back. And as I look at some of the kids who thought, getting good grades and not focusing on women was un cool, they are the ones with a crappy life.
