I was no longer a Sasuke fan right after he tried to kill Karin just to get revenge on Danzo (I hate Danzo more though, Danzo is my least favorite character of all time)
Madara was high up in my estimations when he was making it rain with chibaku tensei right down on the alliance and when he did this:

But then everything started to go downhill when we started to learn more about his backstory. We found out that he was consistently inferior to Hashirama in every phase of his life, from when they were skipping rocks as kids to fighting it out to the death as adults. His own lack of power led him to spend his entire life miserable, hooked up to a senju life support waiting for the memento of the only intimate moment in his life (the lovebite he gave Hashi) to bloom into a new power. Pretty uncool for Indra transmigrant, if I do say so myself.
Meanwhile, Sasuke always had the upper hand against Ashura's transmigrant (save for one fight in which he was equal to him).

Maybe they're mad that Sasuke isn't that lame to resort to his methods or that they're pissed that he has a superior record as Indra's transmigrant against Ashura than him. Or perhaps they're just mad that Sasuke only had to breath for 17 years on earth to reach a similar level to a Madara that had to have two stabs at life to obtain such power.
