Why are Kurama & Gyuki so much stronger than their Siblings?

They were able to fight off all the others combined, Gyuki can destroy a forest and create a wasteland with one attack whilst Kurama's power is unbound. Gyuki flew into the sky with agility and fired a TBB point blank at the 10 Tails and managed to keep the alliance alive til the Hokage arrived. Insane overlooked feats.

Juubi consisted of all element affinities, it's affinities were split between the 9 bijuu.

Kurama possessing it's Yang affinity resulted on him possessing the most amount of chakra and most powerful chakra. It would also explain why only Uzumaki are compatible with him.

Well Most Bijuu have some elemental affinity while it looks like Kurama is more about power. If you really think about it then Kurama Naruto was using in war was only half big as he was at full power. So Kurama is truly most powerful thing in NV in terms of power.

I don't think it had anything to do with favourites, each bijuu is strong in their own right, and Hagoromo probably had limited influence over how Juubi's power would be divided.

I think it simply comes down to unequal distribution of tail beast powers

If that's true it would make sense that the 9 and 8 tails are stronger than the others. Although even with that the scaling is a bit off, they are shown to be quite a bit stronger than the other 7, maybe it's cause those 2 are perfect jincs fighting with their beasts as opposed to the other 7 pretty much being forced and controlled

I think Kurama said the power depends on the tails. Then Gyuuki was like nah fam. Even if it did though it wouldn't make sense. Half Kurama was way stronger than Gyuuki. Hagoromo was just playing favorites like he did with Ashura.

That's kind of what I mean. Like it's unreal how much stronger the Kyuubi is compared to the other 8.

I think it's that way cause he has more tails. I know it doesn't make sense but maybe that's how they are categorized, with the Juubi (10 tails) being the strongest.

Yet he saw Ashura a useless dripout and Indra ad the genius golden boy. He picked Ashura because there can only be one inheritor of his title, it's no different to clan leaders and royal families.

Ashura was chosen because of his values it had nothing to do with being favourites.

Indra was blinded by power and a threat to himself more than to humanity. If Hagoromo gave him his title he would have been a dictator.
