Gohan is more impressive because he could keep up with adults since he was five while goten and trunks needed fusion at 8yrs

If gohan took his training seriously he would eclipse goku.

Chapter 2 of the DBZ manga, if you break the series up that is, states Goku was aware of the hidden power Gohan had. So while it's impressive, if you've read enough of the manga it wasn't surprising. That said Goten and Trunks being so powerful so young isn't out the realm of possibility. The video's theory makes a point about Goten in particular being so strong.

A child born to a saiyan is born with a higher base level depending on the strength of the father.

By the time this universe's gotenks and trunks were born goku and vegeta already attained super saiayan levels.

Gohan wasn't born in a peaceful era.He constantly trained when he was younger,had multiple teachers and went through a few zenkai himself not too mention he had a genuine potential unique to him which was slowly unlocked through Guuru and the supreme kai on top of his years of training.

I agree gohan when you think about it is more saiyan than human. He was able to go into oozaru form and was born with a tail. I kinda consider him full saiyan. But I agree with your statement

no offense, but comments like that are why I encourage people to read the manga. The dub changed a lot and took out a lot of information. Gohan was foreshadowed at being insanely powerful in chapter 2 of DBZ and his power kept going up several times over. Goten and Trunks never had someone to push them like that.

I think the potential why for Goten is pretty big. Goku probably helped conceive him with ChiChi while he was still in Super Saiyan form. It would explain the massive power without really being trained extensively like Trunks was.

I thought they explained this in the anime, when *Goten was borne (or chi chi got knocked up) goku was already a super saiyan, so the ability to transform came naturally to Goten, same for Trunks.

Funny thing is this is actually supported by the fact that goten was conceived when goku had super saiyan active Before fighting cell.
