[Discussion] Why Are Anime Haters Such Hypocrites?

They're ignorant and hypocritical. Anime is one of the last pillars for classic animation and the most efficent way to tell a mature story. As much as anime has been influenced by the west in the past, it is now anime that is influencing the western animation as evident on increased violence, shonen tropes and more anime-inspired western animation.

Anime is a jewel and it is to be cherished.

And there are many other anime series that are awesome.

They're all forms of art and entertainment and people have their preference. But just because you prefer one over the other or dislike the rest you should not insult them. Expressing your dislike is okay imo.
