Why all the Kiba hate?

I really like Kiba! I'm a massive fan of dogs and I always disliked Kiba until I watched the filler "Kiba's Determination." From his point of view he's actually a really relatable and honest character. He's hot headed and his solution to a problem is literally 'make it bigger' but that's just part of his development and he's totally underrated.

I actually liked him in part 1. His fight with the twins was really nice. Anyways, loudmouths are just more fun... Even when they're being massively stupid, they always liven a situation up. Kiba's alright in my books

and i'm glad you can see the positive side of Kiba's character. We're a rare breed.

Agreed. I like Kiba alot and i don't understand the hatred. He isn't fodder either. I like his personality aswell. Loudmouth FTW!

Kiba is definitely the forum's punching bag.

And sure, the character is loud, hot-headed and reckless but think about it....so is a dog- that's his character. Kiba is a human incarnate of a dog, and I think he's a great character. He had a bit of a douchebag entrance into the show when he murdered some genin in the Forest of Death and mouthed off to Naruto but hey, most characters in Naruto are douchebags when they're introduced (Tsunade/Itachi/Neji)

I don't get why the hate is all still here. He's a passionate, likeable character with a good design, a awesome new jutsu and good relationships with those around him, not every character can be the quiet and mysterious stereotype like Sasuke and Shino, it'd be boring.

I'm thinking the genuine Kiba haters are cat people.

The reason everyone hates him because he is just all talk nothing much. There is a old saying a lion with a small **** makes it up with a mighty roar. Kiba only barks no fighting that is why every one hates him got it.

I get it. But that's the POINT. A more accurate phrase is "dog is all bark no bite" and that's why Kiba is such a loudmouth & IMO it makes for an awesome character.

Right at the start of the forest of death him and Shino laid a trap for other teams. Kiba laid a rope trap and Shino's larvae drained them of all their chakra and they died.
