The fleeting art that lasts only a moment: Yes, this was the definition of art to Deidara. It was always fleeting; never permanent. Never. And when something was fleeting, it was beautiful in nature, passionate even, as it lived out its too-short existence to the best of its ability before succumbing to the infinite loss of eternity. The passion in a work of art was incredibly powerful if executed just right. (Especially when your art was an explosion.)


Beauty that lasts. Never fading, never deteriorating, standing the test of time and tide. True Beauty.....that lasts for an eternity.

Deidara was talking about the Sharingan of course, after being caught in Itachi's visual Genjutsu, becoming unaware of his position or sorroundings, his subconscious took over him........and he recognised Itachi's marvellous visual prowess, as a work of art!

While Sasori's definition of art is more appealing to me, i have to admire deidara and sai's ability to create beautiful art in a few seconds whereas sasori's takes a while (which is ironic as sasori doesn't like to be kept waiting.)

For the definition of art, I agree more with sasori's view, and yes itachi's genjutsu was really awesome, even deidara envied itachi his ability. but i like deidara's art most.
