[Question] Who's your top 5 favorite characters in One Piece and Why?

I'm basing mine on both strength and personality. As well as what character is most interesting.


1. Monkey D. Dragon- the hype, the most wanted and most dangerous man in the world, possibly one of the strongest characters in one piece. I would love an episode that tells about his story or about him.

2. Shiki- (I know what you're thinking being at my #2) But watching him in that movie he appears in. He was really funny and the Strawhats were annihilated in their first fight against him. His attitude and Legacy make him a most interesting character

3. Monkey D. Luffy- He's the most likeable character among many.

4. Sabo- now that we find out that he's alive and get an idea of what his attitude is. If everything seems to check out I'm putting him at #4

5. Monkey D. Garp- Very funny. Him being proud of Luffy for breaking into Impel Down. Saying how impressive it was despite being a marine. Cornering roger, (Roger said both Garp and him have nearly killed the other countless times)

as usual I'm gonna cheat otherwise I would just list the SHs
1. The Straw Hats (can't settle on the order only know Luffy is my fav, Luffy is just the kind of guy you would want to have around you, Zoro is badass, Nami is smart and I love her powers, Usopp is just so lovable and funny, Sanji is a well done pervert character that is also very badass (also since I was born in MC I love teh French theme), Chopper is the cutest manga char and extremely čpvable, innocent and funny, Robin is a very interesting character and I can't wait to see what she was doing with the revolutionaries, Franky is SUPER! and Brook is the soul king!)
2 to 5 in no particular order are Ace (badass, Luffy's brother, flashback), Sabo (Luffy's brother, flashback and last chapter), Shanks (gave Luffy the hat, great pirate, MF, v WB, ...) and Dragon (Luffy's dad, unbelievable hype, revolutionary, ...)
also like to mention Aokiji, Garp, WB, Crocodile and Rayleigh and on the antagonist side BB and Doflamingo

-calm
-smart

-touching past
-love the history stuff (I'm a history lover)
-assassin/stealth
-a woman who can accomplish stuff on her own
-honestly an OP and high potential DF (gets bogged so she isn't threatening that M3)
-pretty (for art)
-merciless in battle

2. Sir Crocodile

-badass
-gives no shit attitude towards enemies
-one of my favorite DF's

-appearance (love the over jacket thing)

-His Pace
- his overall attitude (the other villain personality next to Crocodile's flat out murder you one that I love)

5. Admiral "Yellow Monkey" Borsalino

-troll
-Honestly the strongest of the Admirals
-wasn't really serious during Marineford
-one of the few to basically go unharmed in MF

2.) Sanji - I think I can relate with him the most and being a ladies man. Plus he has the best OST from all the characters.

1.Sanji-whats there not to like?Funny,ladies man,a man of horror with a badass and entertaining fighting style.
2.Eustass Kid-hotheaded prideful moron that will punish anyone that looks him down,he follows his dreams in his own f*cked up way.
3.Akainu-even tho he comes out like a douche,he is merely following his own justice even if he has to bath in blood.I wanna know this guy's past and what turned him into the man he is today.

5.BB-a selfish son of a *****,this guy is all about ambitions,just like he said a pirate's dreams never end.This guy makes this manga interesting and unpredictable imho.

1. Shanks, he is a nice guy unless you get in his way or **** with his friends and that is awesome
2. Aokiji, he has my favorite fruit and an awesome personality
3. Sanji, I love his fighting style and he can be a complete badass
4. Doflamingo, a crazy and truly evil guy is just what the series need
5. Coby, I like how he was nothing 3 years ago and now he is the shit and all that through hardwork

Now from here its a tad complex coz I love certain elements in a charecter and these are also present in another but the charecters thenself are distinctly different and its what makes me love OP above all other.

Shanks

• Hes cool, remains calm, laughs off whatever happens unless some shit happens to his buddies, I really love his personality and moreover his character design, he seriously needs more screen time IMHO

2. Eustass kid

• This guy is just plain awesome, acts like a moron at times, with a mockery smirk on his face, I really liked how he displays his attitude and his way of acting, when he fought on side with luffy on sabody archipelago, this guy just immediatly caught my eye

3. Kizaru

• Love this guy, the way he talks LOL like he acts I mean, he doesn't give a single fvuck no matter how dense the situation might be, the specific trait is a replica of his DF, a light man, acting light headed, and speaking in a soft and smooth tone, and not taking anything way too seriously like most of the other marines do, when Ben Beckmann arrived he puts up his arms and he's just "woah don't shoot me man!" Lol this guy is totally great.

4. Dragon

• The hype man! The hype! Something which gains my attention, yeah one might say no one even knows about him so why like the character? Well apparently I wouldn't just judge of the former terms, frankly, the hype makes me like him for a reason, from his appreance shown on most cases and his overall appealing design, like a man who walks in the shadow and his name puts up surprised expressions when mentioned, the complexity, damn i just like that if u know what i mean? and definently I want something shown on his previous background and more of his story revealed.

5. Crocodile

• Nothing to say, other then what a damn badass this ****er is
