Probably Madara now.
He starts off as a genius even among the Uchiha clan, along with his brother (supposedly equal in power). Together, they kill their best friends and gain the power to command the legendary Uchiha clan. Their victories were countless, and only one clan could rival them.. the infamous Senju clan. Anybody who could afford it probably hired one of these clans for their powers, and the opponent would then hire the rival clan for their own reasons. This went fine and dandy until Madara went blind from overusing this power, and to an Uchiha... losing their Sharingan is like losing their entire being. Izuna made a noble sacrifice however, by giving his brother his own eyes instead. Madara continued the fighting... until both sides ended up getting sick of it. Despite Madara wanting to continue the war, the rest of the Uchiha were all too weary of battle. Being the leader, Madara had no choice but to form an alliance with his enemies.
That's where things go down for him here. Izuna sacrificed his eyes, and later his life, in this tragic battle. This is an assumption, but Madara was probably enraged - Hashirama's brother, Tobirama, was still alive and well. When a leader was chosen to rule the Leaf Village, even Madara's own clan seemed to lean towards Hashirama. Feeling hurt and betrayed, Madara left the village... but with an undying revenge in his eyes. Madara went as far as controlling the strongest Bijuu of that time, the Nine Tailed Fox, and using its power to attack Konoha. In a fight to the death, Hashirama fought off this threat in a gruesome battle and his wife sealed the Bijuu inside of herself. The age of Jinchuriki began anew. However, did Madara truly die that day? Surely he couldn't have survived all those years.. right?
^background information that everybody knows xd
But I actually do like Madara's personality as a whole. He has the whole "I'm perfect, you're not" aura going around him.
