Who's your favourite character?

Hating on Naruto a little? Killer Bee always had family to look out for him and a friend in A.

And the 8-tails is nowhere near as powerful as the 9-tails so Naruto beating it at all is a feat.

i didnt mean it like that its just that he figured out how to control the 8tails all by himself(btw:that was only half of the nine tails chakra and is mom helped him a lot)... thats true but naruto had friends too ,A was always mad at him kinda because he they were not on the same level for the lariat...everyone hated B including his best friend because the 8tails killed his best friends dad.

also A was always mad at B for doing stupid stuff.(hence the drop kick) They both went through a lot

Yeah but that drop kick was A being a brother. Naruto didn't have that until Sasuke and look at how that turned out. And Kakashi is a terrible father figure (he ditches Naruto all the time) and Jiraiya was the best but he was always gone from the village and then died. Iruka used to hate Naruto. He told the third Hokage as much.

So they both had hard times being a jinchurikki, but Bee had A to back him up whereas until just recently Naruto was on his own. Stupid, fickle konoha villagers; they only like Naruto because he is strong, not because of who he is.

B lost his best friend and then his best friend wanted to kill him...at the same time B got A kinda offsets i think

Yeah both jinchuuriki's have been through a lot but that seems pretty normal through the whole manga and anime. Just wondering hasn't the nine tails chakra been restored from using Naruto's charkra?

I like it that quite a few of you have chosen Jiraya-sensei.

And of course, he is my favorite character, too!

This story is about growth, not fight. But it seems few people notice that (look at all the versus threads -- what a bore :shrug. And Naruto's teacher is easily the most important character in terms of making Naruto grow. Kakashi would be next, but I kind of cannot forgive him for choosing Sasuke over Naruto when it came for preparing them for the Chuunin exam. He totally left Naruto out in the cold, then. And he did not even notice that Naruto had been hurt by Orochimaru, too.

Also, Jiraya is one of the most human characters in the series. So many laughs in the story are thanks to him.

And, apart from Sarutobi, Jiraya found the most epic end. Do not even mention Itachi -- while I have respect for him, I find him a sorry, misguided, and deeply unhappy person. To all Itachi fans out there: have you forgotten that Itachi is most likely a murderer of his own clanspeople (if you believe his and Madara's version of the Uchicha massacre)? Even if he did it for a higher good, why did he not find a better solution? I believe he was manipulated by Madara (as were the Uchiha), and only later realized his mistake.

Yeah, it's good to see different characters.
