Boruto is a turd and sarada got pretty boring.

If i had to choose a kid I would pick shinki, he has the most interesting/cool design to me out of all the kids. being a puppet master that raps his puppet in sand(which is also their suit) is pretty awesome.

Metal Lee is my favorite character, for now. I do not like Boruto, he has that bratty attitude, and he likes Sasuke.

Boruto since he and Sarada are the only two characters that we've seen XD I mean really, if you were to say anyone other than Boruto, Sarada or Chojis kid then you're just picking a favorite based on their appearances.

Boruto the movie gave multiple layers to Boruto as a character.

Naruto Gaiden gave Sarada a personality at least and a layer or two as a character, and the Gaiden also gave Choji's daughter a personality.

So based on those merits Boruto is my favorite character from the new gen [so far] considering he's one of two real characters.

that movie created a hatred in me for boruto so strong that it can only be compared to how much I hate sakura.

i dont think she's a bad character just that from what i've seen from her she's sakura if she had sharingans and wanted to be hokage. got kinda boring to me

Sarada, Boruto, the sand puppet user are most interesting to me. Chou Chou has promise based on gaiden but yeah so far i like these.

Boruto, Himawari, and Mitsuki, I love Boruto's attitude, Himawari was impressive af, Mitsuki gives me the Part 1 Oro vibes who was great as a villain.

Ah. Yeah I really don't care much for Sarada - though she is already a better character than Sakura. But Boruto I don't necessarily understand the hate. Sure, when we were first introduced to Boruto [as in, in the Gaiden] he could have come off bratty. But to be fair, he was no more bratty than Naruto was at his age.

But in the movie, we were shown why Boruto was so bratty. Very similar to Naruto, he was acting out for attention, however in his case he wanted not the villages attention; he wanted his dads attention. Boruto was shown to be neglected by his father, and desperately in need of discipline and guidance. He felt cheated out of a father by having Naruto as the Hokage - and because of that he opted for the easier paths in life. Relying on the ninja tool to artificially enhance his Jutsu in the Chuunin Exams instead of devoting the time and effort into his own craft. But he had a complete character arc once he bonded with his father [and to a degree, Sasuke] and is no longer the bratty kid most people here have an issue with.
