Who's the Worst Victim of Plot?

In the manga, plot is needed to keep the story going on. A lot of characters in the manga have been victimized by the plot of the story in one way of the other.

Example: You can say the 2nd Hokage was a victim of plot since he has basically no screen time, or that he was killed by 20 people when he probably could have used space-time ninjutsu to travel back to the village.

So who do you think has been foiled by the plot of the manga the most or the worst? Say why you think said character has been "plot no justu'd" the worst.

In the first part he was always compared to Hinata and was given storylines that involved her.
In the second part of the anime, although he's one of the strongest in Konoha, his character is barely developed only to be killed recently.
Exceptional character with great storyline potential... wasted!

Rin, Izuna, Shisui. Take your pick. They were only created for the sake of furthering the story. Plus, they each died for senseless or unexplained reasons. Madara took Izuna's eyes and then Izuna was dead. Shisui gave up his eyes to avert a power struggle within the clan/village, and then Itachi killed the Uchiha and the power struggle in the village still happened. Kakashi killed Rin for no apparent reason.

He's definitely up there with the top plot victim lists.

Obito. It would have been better for him to die. He believed in his friends and sacrificed his sharingan to someone he hates now. His gf got killed by the one who has his eye now and who was supposed to be his best friend. Then he was stuck in a cave with an old man who slowly dragged him to evil and manipulated and used him. I'm sure he suffered pain from his injuries and was unhappy all the time, then he broke and now all he wants is a new world. That goal shows his suffering. He is a poor soul, the poorest of all in the story. And soon he will get trolled and probably become good again, just to die short after. Poor Obito. Would have been better to die as a hero.

Second one is Sasuke, some other sad kid with a bad life who just can't be any better, who was used and manipulated for his eyes and because he is the last of his kind and who never had the chance to live normally. Everyone around was bad for him and the one person who wasn't, he hated and didn't trust. Another poor brat, seriously.

Nearly any Akatsuki member.....especially Kakuzu and Deidara.

The second and fifth divisions during the war (no screen time basically)...

I'll have to say Kakuzu.....he's about to kill Ino, Choji, and Kakashi.....but Naruto saves them. Ok that's fine...I respect that.

What happens after goes against everything they basically said about Kakuzu. Being 91 he has the most active expirience of any Narutoverse character....but he gets fooled by shadow clones...twice I think.

While it csn make sense to be fooled, it is how he was fooled. Here he is (he was calm and collected....not in a rage mode) just thinking to go into long range mode to stay away from Naruto, and what does he do?! He charges Naruto....someone in longe range mode doesn't win in CQB -.- For someone of Kakuzu's expirience and with a mindset of not underestimating opponents....it makes no sense
