Kiba I would say. People say he has one jutsu, as if the sakon ukon fight didn't happen. Double headed wolf FTW.

You could say that all of team kurenai are underestimated since they get little to no canon screen time an haven't actually had proper fights in the second series.

Yeah but a lot of the rookies didn't get very much claim to fame in Part 2 xD In Part 1 though, he did show a move that can potentially kill an opponent without even directly hitting them as long as they had a distinguishable scent. Plus he has some good combination attacks going on.. not to mention ninja tools like smoke bombs and soldier pills. He took out one of their deadliest techniques, tricked them with an Akamaru trap, and overall did a pretty well job. They were also supposed to have gained a new jutsu over the time-skip.

Of course you can show how a lot of others characters are powerful too but Kiba just sticks out at me!...

You right Kishi forgot about him in Part 2.

In all honesty I'd say Sakura. She's the most accomplished medical ninja in Konohagakure since Shizune and Tsunade herself. She is destined to inherit the legacy of Tsunade. And is one of the most intelligent of her class yet she is highly underrated.

I hope she actually gets to keep that fan X_X it would suck if it was just taken away from her and never returned. I think she took out Kakuzu's lightning mask with it (believe the Viz translation gives her the feat and not Asuma but I could be wrong).

Yeah, If she gets the fan she can be more helpful, and won't be underestimated (Most of the times)
