Love is often irrational.
And that's a rather ignorant point of view there... I mean, how are they selfish by devoting their lives to someone? Selfish is devotion only to yourself.

Kaguya - thinking all chakra belongs to her when she originally stole it from a fruit, selfishly wanting it back, has black zetsu manipulate Indra into going curse of hatred, thus starting a war that will continue for centuries or longer, and alters the stone monument to get Indra's descendants to do her bidding, so that she could take all the chakra back, even though it would kill everybody.
Danzo - selfishly manipulating Itachi's selflessness (knowing Itachi would choose to take this on himself), and using that to manipulate him into killing an entire clan in order to take their eyes for himself, with no respect for Itachi and still referred to him as "scum or trash" right in front of Sasuke at the 5 kage summit.
Orochimaru - putting the curse mark on Sasuke in order to manipulate him with the pain he was already carrying from the death of his entire clan (do to Danzo's selfishness) and use that with the intent to take Sasuke's body (for his Uchiha power), thinking only of what he would gain from it, not what would happen to others, like what would happen to Sasuke if he has his body? Also using people for experiments mainly, even if the experiments killed them, he'd not care, kept Suigetsu in a glass tube, also took babies to implant Hashirama's DNA into them (for another experiment, not caring about the babies or their families), killing all of them except Yomato. Make people follow him, but would sacrifice them instantly if he has no need for them.

Yeah right. Irrational is not the word.
If someone tries to murder you twice and then destroy your home and friends, can you still love them and eventually end up marrying the, just cuz they said sorry loool. That's not love, that's a mentally deranged person, who needs serious help.
Not to mention all his criminal activity and crimes he committed. He even tried to kill Naruto, something sakura should not have stood for.

If that was true, obito would have just forced nagato to use rinne tensei, or just put himself into MT without doing it to the entire world. Obito didn't start the war simply to see Rin again, he did it because he honestly thought it was the only solution to the problems everyone in the world faces.
And that's not selfish. Deluded, misguided, sure but his intentions were for what he perceived at the time as the greater good.

Oh forgot about Danzo. He is the most selfish of all, mostly because he kept saying to everyone and to himself that it was "for Konoha" that he did all but it was because of his jealousy towards Hiruzen and his thirst for power.
