Hiruzen Sarutobi.
Trained the 3 Legendary Sannin who have been an asset to the Ninja World.
Orochimaru because without him, there would be no Edo Hokages to save the Alliance from destruction.
Tsunade because she put Medical Ninjutsu on the battlefield which saves many lives.
Jiraiya because he trained the Saviour of the World.

Jiraiya, Gai and Asuma.

This guy got it.

J-Man list is fully of top tier.

Gai trained Rock Lee from a nothing to a somthing.

Asuma brought the best of Shikamaru out.

I don't really remember any of his feats but I guess to be the leader of a rebellion you must have some fire power and good intelligence (or just let Nagato stomp everyone lol jk).

To be fair letting Nagato go around stomping your enemys is a good tactic but about Yahiko received the same level of training as Konan so it is reasonable to assume that he is either on Konan's level or close it's just that he never really had a chance to show what he can do.

Anyway i think Tobirama would be the best sensei purely because of his vast knowledge of all the jutsu he has learnt and created.

This is from an old thread of mine where I explain why I believe Jiraya was the worst sensei (development wise) out of the three Sannin.

I decided to stray away from the from the pattern of redundant threads week in, and week out with the release of every new chapter. Today I just want to clear up two things have been bothering me:

1. What exactly did Jiraya teach Naruto in the time skip between part 1, and part 2?:

Aside from natural progression as a ninja (that Naruto could have made with Kakashi as his sensei) what exactly did Naruto learn? The training was meant to teach Naruto to harness the Kyuubi's chakra, yet when Naruto returned he was as hopeless as ever (in regards to controlling the 9 tails chakra).

He didn't get any better at Rasengan control either, since he still needed clones to form it, nor did he work on chakra nature training (Asuma, Kakashi, and Yamato helped with that). Now saying that Naruto did not improve at all from part 1 to 2 would be a lie, but as already stated what did Jiraya do that an adept shinobi such as Kakashi, or Ebisu couldn't teach Naruto?

I understand that leaving was as much to protect Naruto, as it was to train, but don't you think Jiraya could have done much more for him? Especially when witnessing the success he had with previous students (Minato, Yahiko, Nagato, Konan), and adding in the huge amount of improvement Naruto made after leaving Jirayas tutelage (Mastering Rasenshuriken, and Sage Mode).

In my opinion it's Kakashi. He's intelligent, and can adapt as a teacher, for example he was able to help both Sasuke and Naruto chakra nature changes for very different jutsu, he even came up with an individual training regiment for both (though Sasuke's was not seen).
