Just because she doesn't have Konoha Senpu doesn't mean she doesn't do taijutsu. That art is some sort of enhanced taijutsu, like transformed into a jutsu so the taijutsu users won't be disadvantaged.

And you can't quite call slugging someone who's been on pair with Manda...

Think of it like this: Tsunade is a street brawler, strong but not skilled and Gai is Bruce Lee, skilled and has technique.

Dont get what you mean by the last part. Slugging has nothing to do with actual slugs.

I agree that Gai taijutsu is a powerful taijutsu who has techniques and skills and everything. But Tsunade has these as well.

I mean, while she has them neat, she has the tactics to use them in that same manner.

It's like she is the diamond, but he's the polished diamond, while in the end their shine is the same (I know, lame comparison).

In the end is about destructive power, isn't it?

That's why I didn't even chose between those two.
And yeah, pretty nice comparison with Bruce Lee, I have to admit. That was the first person at whom I thought first time I saw Gai. xd

Tsunade's kick destroyed a town... So they're pretty equal in my opinion.
And you can't say that she doesn't have a good balance in skills and speed. I mean, that's why she's one of the Sannins, that's why she is hailed as the best female ninja. And she's only hailed only for her healing abilities. Just because it isn't flashy like Gai's one, doesn't mean it's not powerful...

Hirudora's is a punch, Tsunade used a kick and Gai's was still more destructive.

During the fight with Hanzou she was healing so its safe to say that she is a Sanin for her healing, not combat. I wouldnt call her the best female Ninja either but thats for another thread, all im saying is that without the strength she hasnt got any taijutsu.
