IDK. But he can rap pretty good, and that line at the end was pretty nice. How is it a free style if it has a music video....
The genre was built on the streets son. "Being hard" was one of its foundations.Yeah, your opinion, but he running this shit rn.
hip-hop ain't bout being hard ***** learn that first.
1) Yeah, evolving into commercialised garbage. You know nothing about Hip Hop. SMH Let me school you....
1. Hip Hop stays evolving.
2. Its about expressing yourself - letting your voice be heard. Anybody can be a rapper.
3. Hip Hop is not just an art, its whatever you what it to be.
Hip-hop is a tree with many branches. Deal with it. It's the listeners fault for allowing whatever is on the radio to be on there, not the Artists.1) Yeah, evolving into commercialised garbage.
2) Wrong. It was a medium for the voiceless to be heard. A way to empower black americans and further the afro-centric movement.
3) Oh hip-hop is whatever you want it to be? So if I want it to be grindcore, hip-hop can be grindcore right? Quit trying to appropriate hip-hop, kiddo.
I actually work in professional studios often and I'll tell you right now, that ANY final mix you listen to whether it be Nas, Drake or effin Shakira is about 60% Human and % 40 percent computer. Trust me. You can't fight without the tools that everyone else is using. You want pure music? Go back to vinyl.Hip hop is fine.
If you mean mainstream rap that people call "hip-hop"... that's a mess. I mostly blame Future, O.T. Genasis, Fetty Wap and anyone else that 95% studio effects and a drawn out single catchy hook 5% "attempt" at lyrical aptitude.
Many branches are diseased and detrimental to the tree, hence why we cut them off.Hip-hop is a tree with many branches. Deal with it. It's the listeners fault for allowing whatever is on the radio to be on there, not the Artists.
I don't understand why purists like you can't just learn to appreciate at least a part of someone's Art. It's like they say, "Haters will see you walk on water and say it's because you can't swim".
Diseased? We're talking hip-hop here, which is still a fairly new genre. Gotta crack a few eggs to make an omelet... It's still young, let it mature. There's a lot of young cats in the game right now who are skilled and have a big enough following to change that. We are in a hiccup right now, sorta like that age of techno. If it evolves into something new, then let it...Many branches are diseased and detrimental to the tree, hence why we cut them off.
Whilst a large part of the blame goes to the public for allowing crap, it's also the fault of the industry.
"I don't understand why purists like you can't just learn to appreciate at least a part of someone's Art."
Because I prefer a holistic approach to music.

Back when music was sincere and people actually participated in the music scene they listened to.

Yeah really, I've actually sat down on live sessions with many underground and on the come-up artists during my internship. I think I would know and I wouldn't take your word for it.
Thanks for the share, but I don't listen to Norwegian Metal nor does that relate to anything were talking about.
